FIL Province

The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FIL Province), through the Laura Vicuna Foundation, has profound hope and belief in young people's strength and their capacity as buddies or friends to help their disadvantaged peers. Hence, the Laura Vicuna Foundation organized the #iamBRAVE program. From the year 2024 to the present, it has brought together 12,268 young people in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao regions, in Philippines, empowering them to become advocates for safeguarding human dignity and protecting themselves and their peers against all forms of abuse, exploitation, and trafficking. The program creates a ripple effect of bravery that inspires others to do the same and create a better world for the next generation. The launch of the I Am Brave Movement served as a platform to unite voices nationwide and globally, re-creating a respectful, nurturing, and safer world.
